General Manager – Sanofi Consumer Healthcare, India

Himanshu Bakshi joined Sanofi as General Manager for the Consumer Healthcare (CHC) business at Sanofi India Limited (SIL) in January 2024.

In the past, he has successfully led organizations in the business of FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) and healthcare products, through many transformation journeys -- from starting new businesses to scaling them up.

In his new role, Himanshu is entrusted with the vision of catapulting the current CHC business in India, into the best Fast Moving Consumer Healthcare (FMCH) company in the world and for the world. This standalone business will embark on an inspiring journey to drive the next health revolution, helping people help themselves by bringing health in your hands.

Over the last two decades, Himanshu has worked in various roles across commercial, marketing, and general management in Indian and multinational companies. He has led large and diverse teams by fostering a culture of growth and development in Reckitt Benckiser, PepsiCo and Dabur.

Himanshu will be a member of Sanofi Indias leadership team and senior management. He will also be a member of Sanofis AMEA (Africa, Middle East Asia) Region leadership team, and CHC senior management.

His most recent stint was with Danone India as its Managing Director. Under his guidance, the Company witnessed notable achievements, navigating through market challenges with resilience and adaptability.
