Annapurna Das joined Sanofi as Country Head, Vaccines, South Asia and India, in November 2019.

Annapurna comes with over two decades of strategic and operational experience in the healthcare industry in India and South Asian markets. She has led in a number of roles in sales, marketing, corporate strategy and business development. Annapurna has worked across diverse therapeutic areas in primary care, critical care & specialty and vaccines. She has led commercial teams across different business models in private as well as public market. Her critical experiences are in life cycle management of mature portfolio, new launches and building innovative go to market models in dynamic regulatory environments.

Annapurna has worked and led across both pharma and vaccine businesses in India and South Asia markets. Prior to joining Sanofi, she was with a multinational pharmaceutical company where she handled P&L responsibility and led the commercial trade channel team for the pharma business. She has graduated in engineering from BIT Sindri and an MBA from Madurai Kamraj University..
